From Monday 23rd March until Friday 3rd April 2020 the school will be open only to those students with whom we have communicated. We have also communicated to parents of students who are eligible for Free School Meals.

Dear parents and carers,

Re: Arrangements for Monday 23rd March 2020 until Friday 3rd April 

I am writing to you regarding arrangements for your child/children from Monday.

Staff have kindly informed the school of their commitment to work for the foreseeable period. This information has been used to construct a school timetable from Monday 23rd March to Friday 3rd April in the first instance.

School Day Timings

The school day timings will largely follow the usual school timetable, and is as follows:

9.00-9.15am                       Arrival and Registration
9.15-10.00am Lesson
10.00-11.00am Lesson
11.00-11.20am                   Break
11.20am-12.20pm Lesson
12.20-1.20pm Lesson
1.20-2.00pm                       Lunch
2.00-3.00pm Lesson
3.00pm                                 End of School Day

Arrival and Departure

Students should arrive to school via the main reception by 9.00am, upon which registration will be taken. Students will also leave via the main reception at the end of the school day.

Uniform

Students are expected to be in their full school uniform.

Sustenance

An optional breakfast will be served from students between 8.30am-9.00am. Lunch will be served in the Sixth Form Café, and will be a cold lunch which includes a sandwich or roll, fruit offering and a drink. There will be no charge to your child for breakfast or lunch.

Educational Programme

Students will follow the timetable above, completing lessons set to them on Google Classroom.

Reporting Absence

To report your child’s absence to school, please follow the usual procedure. Please call 020 7790 6712 option 1 and leave a message for us with your child’s full name and form group.

If you have decided you no longer will be sending your child to school during the closure period, please email info@sjcr.net to let us know, and we will remove your child from the register until you advise otherwise.

We will of course do our best to support you and your child during this time, and likewise appreciate your support during this period of uncertainty.
