Arrangements for Monday 23rd March 2020

From Monday 23^rd March until Friday 3rd April 2020 the school will be open only to those students with whom we have communicated. We have also communicated to parents of students who are eligible for Free School Meals.

Students working from home can access resources from their teacher via Google Classroom. Full details can be found here – https://www.stepneyallsaints.school/for-students/google-classroom/

Dear parents and carers,

Re: Arrangements for Monday 23^rd March 2020 until Friday 3^rd April 

I am writing to you regarding arrangements for your child/children from Monday.

Staff have kindly informed the school of their commitment to work for the foreseeable period. This information has been used to construct a school timetable from Monday 23^rd March to Friday 3^rd April in the first instance.

School Day Timings

The school day timings will largely follow the usual school timetable, and is as follows:

Arrival and Departure

Students should arrive to school via the main reception by 9.00am, upon which registration will be taken. Students will also leave via the main reception at the end of the school day.

Uniform

Students are expected to be in their full school uniform.

Sustenance

An optional breakfast will be served from students between 8.30am-9.00am. Lunch will be served in the Sixth Form Café, and will be a cold lunch which includes a sandwich or roll, fruit offering and a drink. There will be no charge to your child for breakfast or lunch.

Educational Programme

Students will follow the timetable above, completing lessons set to them on Google Classroom.

Reporting Absence

To report your child’s absence to school, please follow the usual procedure. Please call 020 7790 6712 option 1 and leave a message for us with your child’s full name and form group.

If you have decided you no longer will be sending your child to school during the closure period, please email info@sjcr.net to let us know, and we will remove your child from the register until you advise otherwise.

We will of course do our best to support you and your child during this time, and likewise appreciate your support during this period of uncertainty.
