Exam Results

From 2016 all students and schools will be measured on how much progress they make from when they start in Year 7 to when they complete their exams at the end of Year 11. This will be known as Progress 8. The first national Progress 8 data was released in October 2016. View the DfE’s video guide to the new measure and our school's results below.

Key Stage 4 Results:

  • Progress 8 score = 0.53
  • Attainment 8 score = 53.4 (C grade)
  • percentage of pupils who got a good pass in English and maths = 70%
  • percentage of pupils achieving the English Baccalaureate combination of subjects (this means pupils who got a GCSE      grade C or above in English, maths, 2 sciences, a language, and history or geography) = 46%
  • student ‘destinations’ (the percentage of students who continue in education or training, or move on to employment at the end of 16 to 19 study) = 99.6% (256 out of 257)
